Wrong fuel concentration by vehicle and volume
Derived reference table converting a volume of wrong fuel into a concentration for every common UK vehicle model. Concentration is what a high-pressure fuel pump actually experiences, and it is the figure that decides whether a misfuel is a drain or a repair: two litres is a rounding error in a ninety-litre van and an eighth of a tank on a motorcycle. Every row is arithmetic on a cited tank capacity, not a measurement, and is labelled derived.

Method and limitations
Figures are aggregated from published sources, each carrying a grade from peer-reviewed through to secondary reporting. Derived rows are arithmetic performed here on a cited vehicle tank capacity and are labelled derived; recorded rows are labelled cited. No UK body records misfuelling incidents, so every national total in this field is an estimate, and where sources disagree this repository reports both rather than averaging them. The full bibliography is at sources.
Our engine scientists, fuel-system engineers and misfuel specialists would be glad to talk your situation through with you, free of charge. That consultation is what this repository offers: there is no fee, nothing to buy, and no obligation attached to any part of it.
Tell them what went in, roughly how much, and whether the engine has run. That is enough to establish which components are exposed and what the realistic range of outcomes is — and if the answer is that you need nobody at all, they will say so.
